The Story

My history with journalism goes back to my childhood. My father raised me watching everything from both local news to national (more so focused on spanish language television such as Univision). 
With habit, it became not only an interest, but crucial that I knew what was going on around me and in the world. 
Both my interest in history as well as my compassion and care for humanity paired well with the journalistic profession. 
I never realized until I took the opportunity, that my goals of activism could also be accomplished through journalism. It also became the perfect avenue of connection with my community while also giving me grand opportunities of adventure and meeting some of my idols and inspirations.
